Digital Signatures Using Adobe Sign

I want to require digital signatures instead of e-signatures. Even though I have added digital signature blocks to my PDF form, when I prepare the document in my Adobe Sign dashboard, it removes the digital signature blocks and makes them just e-signature instead. How do I retain the digital signature blocks? I have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and Adobe Sign.

Another non-answer from Adobe.

Adobe, please describe how to countersign documents using a digital certificate, assuming the user has Adobe Sign.
