Disable Automatically Attaching to Salesforce Record

Question

I've created a template to work with a custom object and it's working well, with one exception. It's creating an attachment to the Agreement record. Since the agreement image is stored in Adobe Sign, is there a way to prevent Adobe Sign from creating an attachment related to the Agreement record?

I've found a setting, Attach Merged Document, in the Adobe Sign Merge Mapping custom settings set to "checked", that I think is what I want, but it is disabled and I can't change it to unchecked.
