Document automatically cancelled - unable to process

Hi...

I am using the EchoSign API from SalesForce to send out documents for e-signature.

I have recently observed one particular document that was "automatically cancelled" almost exactly 1 hour after it was initially submitted for signature.

The Adobe Sign Document History for this document has 3 items shown:

  • Document Created @ 11:01:29
  • Waiting for signature @17110578:01:34
  • Document automatically cancelled - unable to process @ 12:01:42

Can anyone advise who or what it was that likely cancelled this document?  And even better, why?

Receiving the same error message that a document has been automatically cancelled.  I am unable to modify the document.  What is the reason for this?

Could you please let us know where exactly you get this error message?

Are you trying to send a document for signature? 

It would be helpful if you could share more information about the workflow that results in the error message.
