Does the Adobe user have to be global admin?

Hello All,

A contractor just implemented an AdobeSign solution for us and tells me that the AdobeSign user in our Microsoft tenant has to be a Global Administrator. This seems wrong to me on many levels. Can someone please tell me the minimum permissions required for this user that will still allow our Adobesign solution in SharePoint to function properly?
