E-signature is deleting completed form text, and sending blank form to sign

I complete a form, then select e-signature.  Recipient receives the form blank.  It is removing all completed data from the form.

Trying to fix myself, and notice when I go to add the signature recipient in, all the completed data is removed, and new empty text boxes are put in its place.

Hi Adel38003390ml4j,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delayed response.

This is because of the auto form field detection when you upload the document to Acrobat Sign. You can disable the form field detection from the settings window on your Adobe Acrobat web account.

Use the steps suggested below:

- Open the link

- Sign in with your Adobe credentials.

- Click on the profile icon at the top left and select settings.

- In the settings window, scroll down to E-signing settings.

- Mark the box for "Disable form field detection".

- Click on the Save button.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Melmo_au,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please share the steps you do to fill the document and send it?

Does this happens with any document you send for signature or with particular?

Are you using the desktop application? If yes , try using the Acrobat online account.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I am having the same issue mentioned above on both web and desktop application. I recieve a completed form that I review then send "request e-signature" from my boss. As soon as I select the recipient, all of the pre-filled data is covered by a blank text that cannot be deleted or moved.
