E-Signature: One-sided signing

Good day,

When I want to send a document only to myself in Adobe Sign via e-Signature, Adobe Sign gives an error message "You cannot send a document only to yourself for completion."
How can I ensure that I can send an Envelope via e-Signature only to myself?

One-sided signing is a common occurrence.

Hi MDekker,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

As mentioned above, only you need to sign the document. You can use the "Fill & Sign a document" option on Acrobat Sign. Please refer to the information provided in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/fill-and-sign.html

It is impossible to add only your email address as a recipient or yourself as the first recipient.

It is designed behavior. There are options to self-sign the document in the application.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
