Embedded web forms do not trigger webhooks

Hi. I set up a webhook in my Adobe Sign account that should fire for all web form events. The webhook works fine both when I manually create/edit web forms in my online account and when I create/edit web forms by api calls. However when embedding the same web forms into my external web application the webhook does not fire. For the record, I am embedding the web forms in AUTHORING mode so the users can make changes to it. Are there any special settings/permissions required to make webhooks fire on embedded forms?
