We use an engagement letter that contains approx 2 pages of standard text containing approx 5 terms that need to be defined for each letter.   I have placed these terms at the end of the letter.  At least  one of the fields may grow pa one line and I would like to keep spacing the same with the field after it whether one or two lines.  i will mostly use desktop but I occasionally will use cell phone.  I will mostly send for signature with Adobe but occasionally need to print out for wet signatures.  please help me with process. for example do I start in MS Word with template, make changes and then print to off or do I start with pdf and edit it.

Start with Word file. You never want to edit a PDF file if it can be avoided. However, you can use Acrobat to create a multi-line form field and not use the extra line when it is not needed.

So, where should I keep the MS Word file if I am working with a team? Please describe the process.

Also, on the multi line form field, what do I do to keep same space between form field and next paragraph given the variable of not knowing if field will take two lines or three?

Also, a problem that I’m having with multiline form field is that I can’t seem to “justify” the multi-line. As a result, it looks different than rest of agreement.
