Error when trying to set up Word Add-In

I'm having issues trying to set up the Adobe Sign add-in for Word (2013).

I can authorize the add-in with Microsoft Office, but can't get to enter my credentials to login to Adobe Sign. Before I can enter them, an error message appears saying "Error: Sorry, an unexpected error occurred. Please restart application or try again later." Restarting the app and trying again later have not been successful so far.

Any ideas?

I'm having this same issue with a locally installed version of Word 2016. Do you find any resolution on this?
