Field Formatting not applied when sending through Adobe Sign

After the whole change to Adobe Sign, fields with a format (such as Currency) don't show the formatting when the document is sent for signature. I've checked each field individually while in Adobe Sign before actually sending for signature and each field shows that it is set up for Currency and USD but when the recipient opens it, the fields just appear as numbers without the "$" or ".00 for whole dollar amounts". Any ideas or anyone else having this issue?

Hi Chrisk,

It seems that you are creating the PDF form in Acrobat application and then using "Send for signature" to send the document.

In this case, the format applied to the files does not work.

You will need to convert the Acrobat form to Adobe Sign form. Please refer to the steps mentioned here Adobe Sign - Creating Forms within Acrobat 

If that is not the case, please confirm how exactly you are creating the PDF form and sending it for signature?

Are you adding the form field for the online payment or it just to fill the amount in the field?

Thank you for your help! The issue was that I needed to convert to Adobe Sign form!
