Form fields don't retain comma separators when sending for Adobe Sign

My text field properties are set to use a comma separator in the format #,### and it works fine until I begin to send it via Adobe Sign. On the left is how it should be and on the right is in Adobe Sign. How can I make sure it retains the comma?
