Question

Free account expired error in App Only

I have a paid subscription to Creative Cloud that includes access to ALL Adobe programs. I have been using Adobe Sign for several years on my phone and now all of a sudden it is giving me an error when I try to login through the Adobe Sign App (Apple)

"Your free account has expired. Please update your subscription to continue using the app."

I am able to use it if I log in through the website but not the actual app on my phone.
Any idea why this is happening?

Thank you for responding! This has been a huge inconvenience not being able to use this app.  It still lets me use the online site but it's just not as quick.

Steps taken:

  • I contacted our admin and she said that everything is fine on their end.
  • I removed the application and chose the option to delete all data on my phone.
  • Reinstalled it through the Apple App Store.

Still giving me the same error message when I log in.

  • iOS 16.5
  • Adobe Scan Version v3.28 (20230405.091919)

Hi LindsayD00,

Thank you for reaching out.

Adding to Dj_Creative_Enthusiast suggestions.

Please ensure you sign in using the Adobe ID option when using the mobile application, not with other options like Apple ID or Facebook ID. Also, try signing out and reinstalling the application.

If the error message still appears, share the screen recording of the signing-in workflow. We will get this checked with the team. Share the Adobe Sign application and iOS version on the device.

Let us know if the issue is resolved.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi @LindsayD00 ,

Thank you for posting your query here.

For the issue you are facing, could you please check once with your Admin how the Deployment was performed.

Also, need to check Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Mobile Application Management (MAM) policy, which could be the rootcause for this issue.

Thanks,

DJ.
