Question

How do I change the email address from where Adobe Sign documents are sent from?

We are using Adobe Acrobat Sign in an enterprise environment, and I have a question regarding the sender email address displayed to recipients.

We use Adobe Acrobat Sign through a SmartComms integration that generates and sends agreements for signature.

Currently, when I send agreements for signature, recipients can see my personal email address because apparently I am the Adobe Sign user initiating the transaction.

Our requirement is to send agreements on behalf of a business entity or team, so we would like recipients to see a generic email address instead of my individual email address.

The generic mailbox belongs to the same organization and group as my Adobe Sign account.

Is it possible to configure Adobe Sign so that outgoing agreements appear to be sent from this generic email address while I continue managing and sending the agreements from my own user account?
If so how where and how can I configure it?

Thank you for your help

    Hi multitalented_glamour0b01,

    Thank you for reaching out.

It is not possible to show a different email address than the one from which you sent the document. You may change the email address for your Acrobat Sign account to the organization's email. Please note that this will also affect the email notifications received in the email account associated with Acrobat Sign. However, you can access your Acrobat Sign account in the same way; only the email address will be different.

Additionally, you need to ensure that the organization's email is not already registered with Acrobat Sign; otherwise, you will not be able to make the changes. First, you will need to get that email address freed from other accounts so it can be used for your current account. If you can share the email address in a private message, we can check that.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
