How to change API key associated with one user to another in salesforce

HI,

I went to check if a user had access to Echosign today and found out that a person that has been gone from the company for about 1.5 years is still an active user. When I try to deactivate her, I am getting an error message saying that an API key is associated with this user account. See below. How can I change this to be associated to my user account?

Regards,

Rakesh.

Hello Rakesh,

If you deactivate the API key holder, then it will disrupt the complete integration setup. I would recommend to change the user's email address to your alternate email address in order to keep it active and accessible:
