We have a non-disclosure agreement that was signed by a service provider. When we tried to sign our side, it does not allow signing. It has a certified by Adobe Sing, a Document Cloud solution. Under it, it has No changes are allowed.

How do I sign this type of document when signatures from both sides are needed?

    Hi Wfzen,

When you send a document for signature using the Adobe Sign, you can assign the signature field to the agreement.

Please refer to the steps provided in this help document Assign form fields to recipients.

As you have mentioned above that no changes allowed to the document, it seems that there was a single signature field was assigned to the agreement.

Once the document is signed, it is not possible to make the changes to the document.

In this case, you need to recreate the agreement.

    Hope that answers your query.

    Hello!

We are experiencing this issue as well.  I understand that a signature form field would need to be assigned but how do I assign the signature if I have no clue who will actually sign the agreement.  For example, we signed an agreement and sent it to a funding agency for their signature.  The funding agency sent the agreement back becuase they could not sign the agreement.  They are requesting the agreement be digitally in a way that would allow them to sign the agreement.  This has happened at least 5 times in the last 3 months.  Is it possible to assign the signature form field to "anybody"?

    Hi Lennette2396464174wi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If you are not sure who will be signing the document, you may use the "Add a recipient group" option in the recipient field. It allows you to add multiple email addresses for a single recipient, and out of all the recipients, only one can sign the document.

Please refer to the following help document for more information:https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/kb/add-recipient-groups-adobe-sign.html

If you do not have an email address, you may create a web form and share the link to the form with the partner agency. It will work similar way as you send the document for signature. You may refer to the following help document to learn more about the web form and how it works: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/config/web-forms.html and https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/adv-user/web-form/create.html

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
