Question

How to sign first, then send In Any Order

Can anyone help with a method of enabling a document to be prefilled and signed first, and then sent to others who can sign using 'Complete in ANY order'?

When I try to do this and tick the 'Preview and add signatures' option, all recipients get the document before the prefilling or signature is done!

Putting my email address first, or using  'Add Me' only seems to work if the 'Complete In Order' option is selected.

My thanks in anticipation of guidance.

Can you advise that when you add your name first that you are setting your role to "Form Filler" - see screenshot.

Form Filler Role: This option is available with Small business, business, and an enterprise plans only. The option is used when you just need the recipient to fill in the data and no signature required. Form Fillers can be designated within a signature cycle but are not required to apply a signature of any kind. All field types can be assigned to a Form Filler, including signature fields if desired.

For more information on the various roles available see

If these roles are not visible then they need to be activated under the accounts tab by Admin.
