I want to use the Adobe Sign API. What should I do?

I currently want to use Acrobat sign functionality in my Java Maven Project (openjdk 1.8).
I want to implement a feature like sending mail in Acrobat Sign. (link attached)
Even after reading the guide provided by Acrobat sign, I don't know where to start.

Which should I do first?
