Is Form Fields API an option to place Signature & Date fields after creating agreements in DRAFT ?

Hi,

I am trying to see if there is an option to use form fields API to place text tags or signature/date fields after an agreement was created in AUTHROING/DRAFT mode. Has anyone successfully done this using program/API?

The FAQ has a code provided to use PUT form fields API to place signature block for V6 APIs but it is not wokring when i try .
