Jumbled info in Text boxes after signing.

Question

Hello,I put in all of my text, boxes, signature boxes etc. I sent the contract to my customer. They fill everything out and the contract comes back and all of the information is jumbled and some of it ends up in the wrong boxes. I sent one to myself to try it the same thing happened. Would appreciate any help as these contracts have multiple fields and Adobe is so easy to use, but if the information is coming back jumbled???  I would prefer not to send paper.Thank you,Barbara

Hi barbarao27183267Please make sure you do not copy & paste the fields on the document. Every field name needs to be different. Drag & drop each fields. Double click on each field in the document and make sure every field has a unique name before sending it out for signature. Else data in the fields with same name will get duplicated. Regards,Aadesh

I am having the same trouble. I send clients a form and it is returned to me with information all jumbled up in the wrong places. I sent a form to myself to try it out and it did the same thing.

I usually send 4 different forms at the same time and I noticed entries on the first form were somehow appearing on the second or third form in random places.

When you say each field must have a unique name, what exactly does that mean? I don't know how to name my fields, I just drag and drop and at times copy.
