Need a section of checkboxes to be required with multi-select

I am working with a Template on Adobe Acrobat Sign, and I have a serires of 11 checkboxes.  The signer must select at least 1 of these boxes, but can select more when appropriate.  From what I can gather there may not be a way to set this up just using the template properties and conditional formatting?

Hoping there is someway to make this happen.
