No cancellation email received by delegated users through api

We are having issues with receiving cancellation emails to delegated users through api. When a user reroutes/delegates the signature process using adobe and if requester then cancels the signature process, no cancellation email is received by either of users(initial one who received the signature/the user to whom its delegated). 

As per my understanding the cancellation email will be recieved by any user who is involved in the signature process.  Please let me know otherwise
