Not seeing Name Field Populate on Web Form

When I create a web form, and finish it and go look at what the link the recipient would see, all of the fields pop up in yellow where I can fill it in like normal. Except for the Name field. It doesnt ever populate. I have had to resort to using the Text box, and making that a required field. It is a quick fix but would rather have the name field be functional. Thanks
