one recipient email with multiple roles?

We have a situation where we want to send a 'take-it-or-leave-it' agreement to a recipient.

This recipient will be a signer (although in a 'received-and-acknowledged' capacity),

but the agreement also needs to be signed by an authorized signer at the recipient's

organization, whose identity is unknown at the time of sending.

Ideally, we'd like to list the first recipient's email for both roles, and let them (or require them to)

delegate the second signature to the authorized signer when they get the email from Adobe Sign.

I see Enterprise now offers a "Delegator" role, so I guess with the appropriate upgrade, the

question now would be does Enterprise allow you to specify the same recipient email address twice

but with different roles.

Thanks,

John

Hi John!

There is no problem with the workflow you describe.

Each recipient has their role in the agreement assessed discretely. That the same email address is used for multiple "recipient" objects will not impinge on the function of the role.

If you would like to try it out, I'd suggest signing up for the Free Trial account (which is Enterprise enabled by default).

The only catch there is that you will need to use a different email address for the user in the trial, but if you have a spare email account, exploring the value in Enterprise is probably worth your time.
