Question

page keeps crashing & data in incorrect fields

I have created documents before with Adobe and had no problem until now. I use Adobe to create forms for new hires to complete electronically (employee data record forms, W-4, sign employee policy manual, etc.) Recently, every time I try to create a document with numerous pages/several documents as one Adobe document, the page will crash and none of the data boxes/info fields I placed save. I thought it was my computer but I've tried other computers and get the same problem. I finally was able to create this document (only by creating several documents individually and saving each to Adobe individually, then selecting each from the Adobe library to create one document). However, when I created the document and sent it to several new employees to complete, their data ended up in the wrong fields. For instance, their social security number ended up where their name should be and so on.

If anyone can tell me what the issue is and how to solve it, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but for the past 24 hrs we have been seeing this error while trying to create a document that includes multiple library templates:

In addition, an error email is sent to the document sender:

We were unable to create thumbnails for your agreement TEST and have automatically cancelled it.

This may only be a temporary problem. However, if you have tried more than once to create this agreement with the same document, please visit our online support system.

It's very odd as we have been generating documents using these templates for the past 6 months without any problems until yesterday.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. I didn't even receive an error message or email from Adobe. It's quite frustrating as this program worked great until now and I just want to find a solution rather than a new software program. There must be something wrong with Adobe since you're saying the same thing; you've been creating documents for 6 months and haven't had problems until now, as well.

If I'm able to figure out what the issue is, I'll comment here in case my solution may be helpful to you as well. Likewise, if you find a solution, I'd greatly appreciate your shared advice. Thanks!

Sorry to hear you are still having issues - in my case I was able to fix this by editing every template and simply saving each one again (without making any changes).
