Pre-fill a webform with custom information in batch

Happy Friday!

My organization is looking into using Adobe Sign to provide a webform for individuals to pull up on any device to fill and sign. We would like to prefill certain information on the form for these individuals automatically with data from our database. This data is different for each individual, and we have around 3k people who would be signing this form.

Up to now, we have been adding the data for each individual to a non-form fillable PDF in batch via script for our physical forms, which works because we don't need to add any form fields since the document is getting printed. However, since we are trying to pivot to a digital form process, ideally we would need the data to be prefilled in a form field, which could be editable by the form signer if the information was incorrect.

Is something like this possible with Adobe Sign, either within the system itself, or via a custom script process using the SDK? Or, as an alternative, is it possible to add form fields to a PDF automatically in batch via script, so we could use our batch generated non-form fillable PDFs and automatically add form fields for the remaining information needed?

Thank you!
