Previously, using “Repeat,” the signer only had to provide their signature once, and Adobe Sign automatically applied that signature to all corresponding signature fields throughout the document package.

Are you using: A) Adobe Acrobat Sign, B) Acrobat for web with e-signatures, or C) Acrobat desktop

Are you on: A) Windows, B) macOS, C) a web browser, or D) a mobile app?

Is the issue that the signature is no longer being auto-filled into repeated signature fields in the same agreement/package, or is a different behaviour occurring?

Do you get any error message? If yes, can you please share a screenshot?

Are these standard E-signature fields or Digital Signature fields?

Were those repeated locations created with Acrobat Sign text tags, such as :signature:repeat, a reusable template/field template, or copied fields from Acrobat > Prepare a form?

Suggestions:

If the agreement uses Acrobat Sign text tags, confirm the field uses the documented :repeat directive. Adobe’s Text Tag Guide states that :repeat can repeat the same field on document pages and specifically lists :signature:repeat as copying the signature field to the same location on other pages. If the intent is for one completed field to populate multiple locations, confirm the repeated tags have the same field name and the same directives in the same order. Adobe documents that when two text tags have the same field name and the same directives/order, they are treated as cloned fields, and data entered in one field is automatically cloned to the other field location. If the same-name tags have different directives or a different directive order, Acrobat Sign automatically changes one field name instead, so the fields won’t behave as clones.

If the PDF was prepared in Acrobat desktop first, check whether the copied form fields kept the same field name. In Acrobat’s All tools > Prepare a form workflow, Adobe documents that copied form fields with the same field name automatically populate with data entered in the original field; renaming the copied fields makes them unique instead.
