Programatically sign many documents with Acrobat Sign

Hello,

One of my clients want to implement esignatures with certificates.  In their business, it is typical for some users to have to sign 100+ different contracts per day - its is basically pro forma part of their workflow.  They are looking for a solution whereby they can "auto-sign" each document without having to review each contract. 

1) I am wondering if there is a way to programmatically write a batch file to do this for them.  It seems like programmatically doing this kinda defeats the purpose of the security of electronic signatures, but that's what they want to do. (i.e., code runs outside of Reader)

2) If #1 isn't possible, is there a way to run code or a macro within Reader which can trap a signature event and apply it to other .PDFs without having to explicitly load each one? (i.e., code runs inside of Reader)

I've not used Sign before so I want to make sure I advise the correctly.  Thank you for any help.
