Recipient says they signed but all I get back is an email with a hyperlink

I'm trying to have someone sign a document and everytime they say they signed it, but I keep getting a hyperlink back in a separate email under the subject "Adobe Sign, an Adobe Document Cloud Solution".  I tried replicating the process to myself with a blank document, but no matter what I did I got a signed document back without the email I keep getting from the other person.  Anyone know what might be going on?
