Recover account based on name and credit card data?

Hi! I'm kind of trapped after reinstalling my Win11 earlier today. I thought I backed up everything but my creative cloud app was logged-in on my laptop for so long I forgot it exists. The problem is, I work in photoshop and premiere every single day and now I can't log in to account I pay for every month lol.

After a year or more of using the account and paying for it, I can't remember email adress I used. As mentioned in the title, I have name, surname, (obviosly) and credit card data (the one used for monthly payments). Phone number I think I used doesn't work... I can also check when the payments started. Is this kind of info enough to verify the acc being mine? How can I recover my account or at least get to know what email I used back then? I know all my passwords so recovering will be easy from then on.

Please help! 🙂

Thanks for posting your question about account recovery to this public discussion forum, Angelic_Calmness. I would recommend that you use the steps listed in https://adobe.ly/4jL30Nz to request a password reset for any e-mail address you have access to.

If you are unable to regain access, then you can use one of your other accounts to create a new subscription, Angelic_calmness, but you would lose access to any cloud documents or any other account-related items from the old account. You would also need to contact us directly to request, after establishing the new subscription, that the old subscription be cancelled. ^JW

Thank you! I created new subscription and paid for it with my PayPal, previous one was my mom's card, so the last name is the same but name's different on the bill.

But I think there's a simpler way to cancel the old one, please confirm: wouldn't it be enough if I just cancel recurrent payments on the first credit card and then that CC account just goes dark? You know, system won't get any payment so it will cancel my paid plan and I'll just stay with the new one.

No, Angelic_calmness, you should cancel the active plan by using the steps listed in https://adobe.ly/4k32sTd. Blocking the purchase will affect your credit score and could cause problems if you wish to make future online purchases from the same payment provider.

Most providers ask that you complete any available cancellation process before utilizing the method of blocking payment to a subscription service or other commitment where services have been provided. ^JW
