Reporting on certain fields

My company has several widgets and I want to pull a report that I can export to csv/excel but I only need to see certain fields on the widgets, is that possible?  We have over 500 fields which can make it difficult when trying to view in excel, so I only want to pull about 10 to 20 fields.
