Question

Requiring Signers to verify Email / Do they get reminded to verify?

Hello,

I’m unable to find an answer to what I think should be an easy question.  We have the setting requiring signers to verify their email after signing enabled.

My question is do they get sent reminders when they haven’t verified?  Or just the email just sit there unverified forever...and as such the agreement is never “completed”?

Thanks.

    Hi Set It Off Volleyball,

    Thank you for reaching out.

When you enable this setting, the user will get a pop-up to verify the email address. If the user does not verify the email, the document will not be completed. The user will get a reminder only if you set a reminder for the recipient till the document is signed.

For more information on how reminders work and how you can set the reminder for agreements you send, refer to the following help document: Set reminders for the agreement recipients.

    Thanks,

I think this does help.  My only remaining question is where do I see what reminder setting exists for a web form?  I can’t find it any where based on the document you shared above.

    Hi Set It Off Volleyball,

Please note that there are no reminder settings available for the web form. Additionally, users will need to verify their email addresses before submitting the document. For more detailed information on this process, please refer to the following help document: Require Signer to verify their email address.
