sending doc for signing

After preparing the doc for signing and clicking on "send for signature" I get a page to put in the email address to send it and then hit "next".  But what i get is "Could Not Send" " An error has occurred. Please try again". What am I doing wrong?

I have a creative cloud subscription, which according to Adobe website, provides for sending and signing.

I get the same error:  "Could Not Send" " An error has occurred. Please try again"

  • I tried signing out and re-authorizing
  • using the web version

Nothing works — if this is part of my subscription, why isn't it working?
