Should we password protect docs we want clients to Adobe sign?

We are a uk based financial services firm giving personal financial advice. 

We are using Adobe sign to make clients lives much easier when setting up pensions and insurance's etc. 

Is the request signatures process secure? Or should we also password our docs to give max protection. 

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
