Question

Sign with digital certificate - not allowed?

Hi,

I'm in trial period for "Adobe Sign" and while hand-written signing works nicely, I cannot

get digital certificate signing to work.

I follow this document: Adobe Sign - Digital Signature Workflow

I have enabled digital signatures in Sign settings. I have added the form field.

When the recipient opens the file and cliks on the form field he gets "This operation is not allowed" (or similiar: I have it in another language).

Normal signing with certificate (without forms, using this doc: Podpisy oparte na certyfikacie, Adobe Acrobat DC works OK.

What to do?

Thanks,

I have figured out that the issue comes from the fact that my pdf was presigned (which

seems to be a feature supported by Adobe Sign as in audit log this fact is visible: "Document digitally presigned").

So the question is different: why I cannot digitally (with certificate) sign the document which was digitally presigned?

Best regards,
