Signed files missing. Can I request to retrieve files?

I can't seem to find some contracts that have been signed by the second party to validate our contract. I have noticed that there are 3 files that have been shared at the same exact time from the History Tab. Within my laptop email program, I have also found historic traces of the email notification of the signed contracts by the second party, but cannot find the actual email message anymore as well.

Can I request to retrieve previous states of my account? This might go back 12 to 16 months, perhaps a little more. Would this be possible? Should I report it as fowl play or is there a logical explanation that I am missing?
