Signer fields to complete before sending

I need to create a library template that has fields for the sender to complete prior to sending.

I have done this but the fields can only be accessed by ticking the preview fields box before clicking the send button. Previously this was set up so that the boxes were accessible without ticking the box and only by clicking the send button. Where am I going wrong?

Hi SUNSHINEPOLLY,

Please navigate to Manage page, select the Library template & click on Edit.

Now double click on all the fields one by one & set the Role to Prefill to all the fields that needs to be prefilled by the sender.

Save the changes once done & now try to use the Library template

Thank you for the response to my question.

Unfortunately when I checked, I saw that the fields were already set to prefill.

The sender said that previously when using the library document these prefill boxes come up after clicking the "send and sign" button.

However with this new document the boxes are only available to prefill if the box is ticked for the field previews before clicking the send and sign button. The boxes then appear but are more "backend" set up than just the actual blank fields.

How do we set it so the fields come up after the send button is pressed without having to tick the box?
