Signing a controlled document: how can I prevent downloading the file afterwards

Howdy!

I want certain folks to sign controlled documents. By their nature, controlled document files should not be downloaded or printed for "personal use" etc.

They're all easily accessible in a read-only way for the person who is signing the document.

Is there a way to prevent this prompt to download a copy after signing, and to remove the link to view the file in their Adobe Sign account from the confirmation email?

Perhaps Adobe Sign is not appropriate for use with a quality management system.

Hi Bobby,

As you have mentioned above, you are referring that when the signer signs the document, he should not get the Download a copy tab.

If that is what you are looking for, you need to check with the Adobe Sign support team.

They will check and let you know if there is an option to disable the Download copy option.

To contact the support team, open this link Contact Customer Care and sign in with your Adobe ID.

Select the product from the list and scroll down the window to check the contact options.

Let us know if you need any help.
