Template Ownership Transfer - Bug or As Intended?
Hey!
In preparation for one of our employees leaving, we've begun proof-of-concept testing the template ownership transfer function in Adobe Sign. We've noticed something odd:
- Account 1 (original owner) transfers ownership of Template X to Account 2
- Account 2 appears to inherit full permissions, can edit access and set reminders, etc
- Account 1 is still able to set ownership to someone else, revoking it from Account 2
To compound this;
- If Account 1 does set a new, third owner; Account 3, then Account 2 also still retains the same right and can set a new owner as well. Now three separate accounts all have the ability to set a new owner despite only Account 3 being listed as the template owner.
I can only imagine this continues to the nth. Why, after transfering ownership of a template to someone else, are accounts still able to edit ownership/access? This seems like an unintentional bug. Am I just beating a backend sync?
