Question

Template was created, and I could briefly find in desktop app. created a second, and now it says I have 0 templates

I have several forms I send out to clients regularly for fill and signature, so I made a template of one of them yesterday. I sent it to two additional clients after creation, from the *desktop app* template category. Today I made another, and now the template category says (0) templates. I can find them in the web app, but I do 99.999% of my work in the desktop app.

Where did they go and how do I return to having access in the desktop app like I had yesterday?
*The program is up to date*. cycling down to and returning from old acrobat does not bring them back.

    Hello@aurora_4093,

Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are doing well. I understand how concerning it can be to find that your templates are available in Acrobat on the web, but the desktop application is showing 0 templates, especially when you rely on them regularly.

To help us investigate further, could you please confirm:

    • Are you signed in with the same email (Adobe ID) and profile in both the desktop and web apps?
    • Does signing out of the desktop app, restarting Acrobat, and signing back in refresh the Templates section?
    • Do the templates appear if you access Request e-signatures from the desktop app again?
    • If possible, please share a screen recording showing 0 templates in the desktop app, with personal information hidden.
    • What are your Acrobat version (Menu > Help > About Acrobat)and operating system version?

As a first step, please check for any pending updates by going to Menu > Help > Check for Updates, and update Acrobat to the latest version, 26.003.22075 Planned update, Nov 02, 2026. Install the update, restart Acrobat and your device, and then check for the template again.

For more information about using templates, please refer to: Use templates to send Acrobat Sign agreements | Adobe Acrobat Sign

We hope this helps. Let us know if you need any assistance.

    Regards,

    ^PV

I am, as I said and emphasized, up to date. That is the first thing I check, always. So I am already using the 26.003.22075 with acrobat Pro, and in the same account on both desktop and web.

I signed out and back in again, and nothing has changed.

Below is a the similar area on the webpage. Although it does not show a number, when I click on the template option, a list with the ones I made recently shows up. You can also see the ongoing discrepancy between “in progress” agreements that prior help agents have simply not been able to fix.

The request e signatures option from the menu takes me a blank e-sign page asking me to select files, no templates.
