Total value keeps throwing in a decimal point

weirdly specific issue this one...

We have a form we use for invoicing and there's a box at the bottom where we enter a total value. It's been working fine until last Thursday and then all of a sudden, when you try to enter a figure it will just add .02 and not allow you to change it - e.g. you try to enter a value of 345, as soon as you get as far as pressing the 4 key, you just get 3.02 displayed and no way of changing it other than hitting delete (if that makes any sense). We've got a workaround as you can just paste the values from notepad, but it is annoying and we'd rather get this fixed.

Also, the form has been tested under another user's profile and it gives the same error.

Anyway, anyone come across this before?
