Question

Two documents: one required, one optional?

We are interested in sending out two documents in a single mailing. For one document, signature is required. For the other document, signature is optional (they can choose to refuse to sign).

Is this possible?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

As you wish to send two documents and need a signature on one document only, then you may skip the signature field on the second document. Is it required to add a signature field on the second one?

If you add the signature field, the signer will need to sign the agreement.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Thank you Meenakshi, but that is not the situation.

In this case, we have two documents. One is required and has a signature on it. For the other optional document, the recipient can chose whether or not to sign it. If they agree to the terms of the optional document, we would require a signature on it. But the don't have to return the optional document or sign it at all, if they don't want to.
