User Leaves Company, How Does New User See Former Employee Documents

Our company assigns Sign licenses by user name. If jane_doe creates documents inside of Adobe Sign and leaves the company, julie_smith is hired to fill jane_does position. How does julie_smith see or get access to the documents that jane_doe created? No groups were ever created inside of Adobe Sign.
