Question

Web form signature field upside down and in the wrong location

I've seen a couple of similar posts recently and we are having the same problem. We created multiple webforms and the signature field is coming back upside down and in the wrong location. Is there a solution yet? It seems to be more of a system wide issue and not due to our forms as we create a new set of our forms each year. This has been happening with all of out 2025 forms we made earlier this year.

I just tested a form created in March 2024. I looked at one of the agreements that was signed from it in 2024 and it was perfect. I just filled out the same form today 5/2/2025 and the copy that was sent to me after signing it had the signatures upside down and on random pages. Something has changed in the last year probably recently since so many are posting about it to make this happen with the signatures. It is embarrassing to have a client receive a copy of their form with the signatures all over the place and upside down. Adobe! Please find a solution ASAP. Thank you.

I've attached the PDF from the form created in 2024 but filled out on 5/2/2025.

Hello,

I am having the same issues, where complete signatures are coming in upside down and in the wrong place. Please see attached. Please advise how to correct this.

Hello Meenakshi,

Are there any updates you could share with the community? My organization doesn't have an Enterprise plan that I know of.

Best,

Hello,

has anyone gotten a resolution to this issue? I just sent a form two days ago for signature, the same way I've done now for the past several weeks and this one was just returned with the signature field moved to the top of the page and flipped upside down. Which was not how it was submitted. Thanks!

Hi meaghan_1628,

Thank you for reaching out.

We see that you have an Acrobat Sign Enterprise-level service plan. The team has already been informed about this issue.

However, as you are using the Enterprise plan, you may contact the Acrobat Sign Enterprise support team to have this behavior checked. You may contact them using the steps in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/3UvbPQm.

In the meantime, we will check with the team about the update.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi vc1@dolphins.org,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please let us know if the issue occurs only with the web form or the form you sent manually. Please try creating a sample web form from scratch and see if the same thing happens again. It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording of the complete steps you used to create the form. Also, let us know where you added this form so the user can open it to fill out and sign.

In the meantime, we will try to replicate the issue and get this checked.

Feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I believe the issue is when the form is signed and submitted, not when it
is created.

As I stated, I created multiple forms last year and had no issues with the
signed files we received back.

All of the 2025 versions that we received signed back have had the upside
down signatures. To test last week, I pulled up one of last year's webforms
that I know worked last year and when it was signed it came back with the
signatures upside down.

Hi VC1_LHarris,

Thank you for the information, and sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

We did try to replicate the behavior. However, the feature is working fine on our end. Please confirm if the issue occurs only with the web forms or the form you send individually using Acrobat Sign. Also, please share the type of signature field used in the documents.

We will get this behavior checked.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
