Question

When sending 2 forms, fields in second form are prepopulating

When I attach two forms to be sent, the fields in the second form are getting pre-populated from fields in the first form.  The two forms are unrelated and I don't want the fields in the second form to default to anything - I want them to be fillable by the signer.  Anyone know why this is happening?  thanks!

Hi @Stride5ED5 - Please check the properties of the form fields, if you would have copied the same form field and used in form 2, there might be chance of data getting pre-poulated.
In form 2, change the form field name , and assign it to Signer. DO NOT SELECT , prefill option.

Thanks I will give it a try.  It shows that in Acrobat DC that you can set it up the way I want it to work but if you send it up to Adobe Sign it strips it out.   Tomorrow I will do a test run with Adobe sign and see what happens.  Thanks for the heads up.  Will try that also.

That's what I am trying to accomplish.  My form fields are named the same for client contact infomation on each of the forms.  The text seems to prepopulate okay but there is huge problem getting radio buttons to prefill.  Any thoughts.

Hi @AlaskanCryptologist  - You cannot prefill radio buttons. Only Text fields can be prefilled.

Thank you @adityas31531516 for that.  Would you have any suggestions on how I could do something like that or is there a procedure that adobe has that repetetive clients would have their information automatically populated.
