2 Year Contributor Blocked for "Suspicious Activity" After Sales Spike Appeal Pending Since 6 Nov 25

Dear Fellow Contributors,

I am reaching out in a state of extreme distress and disbelief. I feel a deep sense of injustice after years of honest, hard work. My contributor account, representing over 2.5 years of dedication and containing more than 3,300 unique, self-created assets (Clips and Vectors), has been suddenly shut down under the category of 'Suspicious Activity.'

I have successfully earned and processed payouts over 15 times in the past. My account was blocked simply because of an uncharacteristic sales increase before a requested withdrawal of $374. I firmly believe this was due to buyer-side fraud, yet my entire career is now paused.

I filed my official appeal on November 6, 2025. Today, it has been 24 days, and I have received no official response or update on the internal audit. This lack of communication is mentally exhausting.

I appeal to the community: For those who have been through a 'Suspicious Activity' block on an old, established account—how long did your reinstatement process take? Do you think there is any hope for recovery when the history is clean?

I appreciate any advice or shared experiences during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you.

I’m in the same situation with my account. I appealed in early August 2025 and haven’t received any updates since then. At this point, I don’t think we will ever get our account back.

Few Contributors come back here to report the status of their account recovery, so we don't have much to go on. We have heard that it can take several months.

24 days is not a long time for an account to be blocked. Some contributors reported a waiting time of 6 months or more, before the issue got a final decision. And yes, there is always hope, but you should start working on other things until that.

Heavy sales increases are always suspicious, and very often, they are done with the intention of fraud. Adobe has means to investigate that, and when they think that you are involved, the account stays blocked. In other cases, only the fraudulent sales get deducted and the account gets released, but as I said, investigation takes time.

Fellow users can't help you.  This is a private matter between you and Stock Contributor Support.

You must go through secure official channels, not a public web forum.

Be patient. Most employees are on holiday leave until after Dec 2nd.  Investigations take time.

While you wait, work on other projects. Submit content to other services.

Good luck.

Hi @Abrar_Tabish9348

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to assist you because we're also contributors. Since you've sent your appeal, there's nothing else to do but wait for a response. This may take several months. We cannot say about your case, but there are reports of contributors accounts being restored minus the offending sale royalty after the investigation is done. However, the converse is also true in many cases. Your account being restored depends on the outcome of the investigation.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Suspended account reviews can take anywhere frm a few weeks to a few months. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do except wait for the  process to be completed.

You are not addressing Adobe here but contributors like yourself, and we are unable to be of assistance. Use the "Contact us" link to ask for details and wait for a response if you have not already done so. It will most likely be awhile before you hear from them, other than a possible generic email notifying you that your email has been received. Keep an eye on your junk or spam folder if necessary. Do not attempt to contact Adobe repeatedly, as doing so can potentially slow down Adobe's investigation.

That is completly useless here. You will need that, however to communicate with Adobe.
