Hi, I've being waiting for the statement from adobetax for 10 days despite specifying that I have deadline to meet. I sent 3 emails and so far not even a acknowledgement. It's humiliating having to beg for something that should be readily available online

Correct answer Abambo

I do not know how long it will take to establish these papers, but for next year, you should contact Adobe tax in January. I also do not know about your deadlines, but if the deadlines are near for many people (my deadline is normally end of this month), there can be delays because of the sheer number of requests they have.

I have no solution for you. Nobody here in this forum can help you, except may be saying how long it usually takes to get the Adobe information. I never needed this, so I can skip the tax information.

"Failure to Furnish Correct Form 1042-S to Recipient

If you fail to provide correct statements to recipients and cannot show reasonable cause, a separate penalty of up to $280 each (for filing year 2022) may be imposed for each failure to furnish Form 1042-S to the recipient when due. The penalty may also be imposed for failure to include all required information or for furnishing incorrect information on Form 1042-S. If you intentionally disregard the requirement to report correct information, each potential penalty increases in the same manner as the penalty for failure to file."

This is from irs.gov. I'll mail them next week to see if there's anything I can do while I'm waiting for Godot

Document your interactions with Adobe. Especially dates are important.

I did before posting here. The answer was they couldn't do anything, only adobetax could. This is ridiculous
