7 rejected photos in a row

Hey there,

I'm a little confused. After I uploaded about 100 photos in a row that all got accepted without any problem 7 photos got rejected today. They are from the same "photo session" than a few of the accepted photos and have the same quality. Yet these 7 photos were rejected because of "quality problems" and not because they are maybe a little too similar to photos that I already uploaded.

Did I encounter a bug in the Adobe review software process?

You can upload it again with corrections. Don't upload this though!

You've made the image too dark now. You should only darken the clouds a bit to get some detail in them.

For the bit of cloud that is clipped that @Abambo  pointed out, you could use the healing brush carefully.

Be careful to make sure that everything is balanced; balance between light and shade. The sky should be lighter than the foreground.

I had the same but it was all the photos I had in the queue - 61 rejected. I suspect it was a mass rejection as they are behind in approval process.

I generally get probably a 90 to 95 percent approval rate.

Not overly concerned though as they were accepted elsewhere.

Where else do you use, this is my first place and so many proplems getting them accepted, feel as though taking photos is only 15% of the work.

No, check your pictures for artefacts. There is no bug in the review process, only variations due to the human factor as all reviews are done by humans.

So I guess I was just lucky in the last few weeks. The reviewer who had to look at my shots last night was more demanding than the others 😉

There is a certain amount of variability in the moderation process, because they are humans. But, in general, the vast majority of rejected images that we see posted here actually do have identifiable issues.

Do NOT assume it is a bug and try again, you can get blocked forever if you resubmit files without changing them.

We may be able to help, but not without seeing your photos! Please share 1-3 (no more) ORIGINAL photos EXACTLY as you submitted them. Also do not submit similar photos; this can also get you blocked without warning.

Here are two examples of shots that got accepted:

https://stock.adobe.com/de/stock-photo/id/574454648

And here's a screenshot of similar photos from the same session. Same day, same camera, same ISO settings, etc - all in all pretty similar to the ones that got accepted.

Sorry, these are no good for judging quality. You may know that Adobe zoom in to 100% on the original, and look very closely for errors. To give you proper advice, you need to post the original pics for critique. Do not resave them, shrink them or watermark them - all of these change the image and may hide or add errors.

Maybe post a couple of examples from the rejected photos here...
