Question

A test that was accepted and subsequent photos that were not for technical issues

Recently I sent in 6 photos as a test because I had increased my ISO to 800-1250 in order to capture photos of an active bird family in our birdhouse, in the shade. Also, I was using a zoom lens and needed a high shutter speed for handheld. I didn't expect over half of them, and maybe none, to be accepted due to what I thought was graininess. All 6 were accepted.

I then followed with 13 more that were in those settings and all were rejected for technical issues. I've never had an entire group rejected. If half of each group was accepted, or all rejected, I wouldn't have a question but I'm confused. Is it possible different reviewers are looking for different things? Do I try sending them again?

Adobe reviewers must evaluate thousands of images each week.   Adobe looks for highest visual and technical quality.  See links below.

Ask yourself if your image is better than what is already represented in Stock's database.  If it's better, submit it.  If it's not, then don't.

We still need to see an example of an accepted and a rejected photo. The noise may not have been thge reason for rejection.

Moderators are humans. They are looking at the pictures with different moods at different times of the day. I think that flawless pictures will always pass and flawed get always a refusal. But sometimes, pictures in between pass or fail, based on the appreciation of the moderator. It is not said that high ISO pictures fail, if they are carefully processed. I have high ISO pictures in my portfolio.

This said, there may be flaws that made fail the pictures in one case that where not present the last time.
