Question

About Artboard size , Thumbnail . and name of asset on Icon set caused contributor account harmful ? ?

Hello Sir,

According to the Adobe Stock design requirements for vector submissions on
last update on 2, 2026:

https://helpx.adobe.com/jp/stock/contributor/submit-your-content/submit-vectors/design-requirements-for-vector-submissions.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Icons, logos, patterns, text, lettering

Minimum: 1000 x 1000 pixels

Maximum: 4800 x 4800 pixels

This means the maximum dimension for the artboard is 4800 pixels.

I have two query:

  1. If I use a 6000 x 3000 or 7000 x 3000 pixel artboard instead of  4800 for an icon set, could this cause my contributor account to be blocked or banned?
  2. If I include the name of every icon underneath it and also use a small background on one side of the artboard (either the right, left, or top) to display the complete name of the icon set like thumbnail , could this cause my account to be banned or deleted?

Could an expert please provide a specific answer with a relevant explanation? Request all expert to get a perfect solution and specific response on it .

Thank you all.

Captions are not required. You’re selling icons, not text. If the icons don’t communicate sufficient meaning without captions, they’re not good icons, are they?

    4800 x 4800 pixels =  23 million pixels.

That’s more than enough artboard for vector icon sets.

BTW, you have enormous competition from other icons. You would do well to find something more unique to submit. Icons have been done to death.

This is what you’re competing with:

    https://stock.adobe.com/search?k=icon 151 million results

And most of these are sold in sets, so it’s actually closer to a half-billion icons. Statistically, it’s impossible to get meaningful views & sales from icons.

Customers want images of people interacting with other people, pets, tools, crafts, machines, etc…  Branch out into other areas.

I don’t submit vectors myself, but I know that if I attempt to submit an image with a file size that is either too small or too large, the result will. be an error message stating as much. So this might be the case for vectors exceeding 4800x4800. As for your second question, I can’t imagine that including such information would result in a ban.
