Hi everyone,

do you know if lately Adobe is hiring people with serious problems with eyes?

All stock agencies are accepting my photos except Adobe due to "QUALITY ISSUES"

After having changed the currency from eur to usd paying us less have they decided also to not accept our photos randomly or what?

I only increased a bit the luminace with Lightroom (+30) and they accepted all them, is this normal for you? Yes?

I should clarify something here for those who are not very quick with their brains. I'm not serious when I write "poor eyesight seeing is a reason for the rejection", this is ironic, a provocation, I don't think reviewers are stupid, incompetent or they are drinking when they review the photos. Adobe is one of the best stock agencies, that's why I am here. I just simply think that in the last days something is wrong here wiht the reviews, you say that they improved the selection? Very good. What I did with my last 10 photos not accepted? I only increased a bit the luminace with Lightroom (+30) and they accepted all them, is this normal for you? Yes? Ok. That's all. Best wishes

Hi,

I enjoyed going through this thread. I really get a good laugh - poor eyesight seeing reasons for rejection, that's a good one. Drunk is probably plausible. That would cause double vision, gives the impression of camera shake or focus issues, but then we, the sober ones, have not seen the photos so without evidents we can't take sides.

Why are you and @glum person afraid to submit your best photos here that are rejected for quality reasons? Is it that you really believe that there are issues with your photos?

I too submit photos to multiple platforms. Very few of what Adobe rejects the other platforms also reject. Yesterday I decided to crop one file that was accepted by all the other platforms I submit to except Adobe. As I zoomed in I saw chromatic noise in the black area. That was what Adobe reviewers saw and the others didn't. It took more than a drunk or bad eyes to see that defect.

To add to the links you already get, take a look at some of the issues you need to look for at between 100 and 200% here

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Hi here! 2 more for you, accepted by Adobe and denied by other agency. OK, not very bad, but intentionally overprocessed. Why agency with high quality standarts accepting such poor quality shots?

Why would anyone deliberately submit "overprocessed" photos?

That said, these do not look overly processed to me.

Perhaps the originals were sorely in need of some wow factor.

I agree with @glum person 100%. Sorry guys but many replies here are just useless, saying nothing, suggesting to "go to upload your photos to other agencies", "Adobe is the best" and bla bla bla. I'm not saying that Adobe is a bad agency, Adobe is not accepting perfect quality photos in the last-few-days, that's a fact, not my opinion and I will not waste my time here posting examples and get other useless replies. Good luck you all with your uploads and sellings.

And 'perfect quality photos' is in itself a matter of opinion. What is a 'perfect quality photo'? Evidence is needed to back up facts.

Yeee, using term "perfect quality" imposes responsibilities, that`s right. I use "good quality" or "bad quality".

If you think Adobe is willing to sabotage their stock business by hiring untrained Moderators, I suppose you should just utilize those other agencies that accept your work.

Adobe Stock Reviewers are vision impaired and that's why they refused your assets. Just think about how ridiculous that remark is.

Without seeing your submissions, I'm guessing the quality didn't pass muster.  Acceptance by other stock agencies means nothing.  Their quality standards are not the same.  Their customers are not the same.

Meanwhile, review your Stock Contributor User Guide.  Most of your questions are answered there.

There's no point in us repeating what's already published online.  😉

Hope that helps.

Hello,

It's the contrary. Their eyesight is better now because they see the flaws. It's the other agencies that hire people with bad eyesight !😃

Hi,

since you are new here... Adobe has a very high Quality Standard. When other Agencies do not have those thats fine.

Before you submit, please review the submission guidelines carefully and compare your work with other Stock inventory. To be accepted, your work should be as good or better than what's already represented in your keyword category.

I'm 5 years contributor dear Henrik, I know what I'm talkin about. Never happened before that more than 20 photos in a raw were rejected for "Quality issues".

You are mistaken. You were paid more before. Now we are getting the same amount as all the others. They could also have changed the exchange rate from 1:1 to 1:1.2. This probably simplifies their life a lot.

I hope not. Post one of your refusals for quality issues and we will look at it. Post as submitted.
